In the forest behind my family’s home I spent most of my afterschool hours in adolescence exploring nature. Wielding a camera, it spurned my early attempts to document and express the profound influence I felt of the natural world that fell beyond words.
I am currently interested in both the deconstruction of the traditional means of captured information and the boundless possibilities provided by digital development of the work. These two concepts are, however, in subservience to what drive me to make photographs; which is to explore and express the primordial relationship between humans, society, and the natural world.
I currently live in Grand Rapids, MI
